Regardless of whether you like Olbermann, he's got something to say about the shooting of Rep Gifford in Arizona. I hope even those who generally violently disagree with Olbermann's commentary can agree with this bit. CoH will be enforced.
The Alaska governor's office is asking for more time to prepare to release former Gov. Sarah Palin's e-mail archives from her time in office.
As the year comes to a close, Media Matters offers a month-by-month look back at Fox News' most outrageous and factually challenged moments of 2010.
It gets better. The law Sarah Palin broke is one that she, herself, signed into law. And, in doing so, she endangered the lives of her children. What was the law she broke? No seatbelts on the kids in a moving vehicle.
While I'd be the first to say that a school must make allowances for religious observation... Nowhere in the Muslim faith does it say WHEN this trip must be taken.
Can these people possibly stoop any lower? EDIT: I think this has enough merit to drag it out of comments and post up here where it's visible. I propose we put our money where our collective mouths are.
HollywoodLife.com researched the logistics and cost of Palin's hunting trip which resulted in a bagged caribou, and discovered that it was a mighty expensive way to feed the Palin family, at $42,400 for the trip. The breakdown is all at the link.
Dear Mrs. Palin,

WASHINGTON—The U.S. Department of Education released a comprehensive, nationwide evaluation of American schools Monday indicating that attempts to teach absolutely anything to these little @!$%#s is just a huge waste of everybody's time.
Not my typical sort of seed, but one worth reading and sharing:
The Tea Party Express, paid Holland America Line a total of $103,000 to send six of its staffers on four consecutive cruises on the Amsterdam.
Setting this up as an article, as I'm going to include a few links, here.

President Obama is pulling no punches when it comes to Fox News, declaring the cable news outlet to be "destructive to [America's] long-term growth."
I'll be among the first to say that I think Michael Moore and I don't see eye to eye on some things. I'll be among the first to say that, many times over the years, I've fervently wished he'd just shut up. Yesterday, however... Yeah, I'll give credit where it's due:
In RAC0219's seed, we got more than a bit off-topic. I'd asked this question there, but, per his request to stay on-topic, I'm bringing it here.

A federal judge in Boston, Massachusetts, has ruled that the federal ban on gay marriage is unconstitutional, because it interferes with an individual state's right to define marriage.
The Supreme Court has ruled against a Christian campus group that sued after a California law school denied it official recognition because the student organization limits its core membership to those who share its beliefs on faith and marriage.
A Doctor Who Tardis used to whizz Christopher Eccleston around the galaxy as the ninth Time Lord and the "earliest surviving Dalek" will go under the hammer next week.
Interesting. Apparently, not only do children raised by same-sex couples have no MORE problems than other children... apparently children born to lesbian couples have FEWER problems.
I'm sick and tired of seeing people complain about the epithet "Teabaggers". The Tea Party coined the phrase at the beginning of 2009. They started websites, which are still up and running, which referred to themselves as "teabaggers".

The article is about the trial of the hacker who accessed Palin's e-mail. (He was convicted on two of four counts, cleared of one, and the jury deadlocked on the fourth.) The interesting bit...
A climate-change bill that was scheduled to be unveiled at a news conference Monday is now up in the air after Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham of South Carolina walked out of talks.
An interesting article by a psychiatrist taking a look into the mind of the delusions of Tea Partiers. CoH will be enforced. Stay off each other's backs, folks.
Playgirl spokesman Daniel Nardicio told Life and Style magazine: " I sent the request to Michael Vick on Wednesday. But we haven't heard back yet. I figured he paid back society for dog fighting, but what about the animals?
Great comments and seeds... Keep up the good work!

Ok sorry I tried to post the link as well but it doesn't look like it showed up. Here it is again. If you can't see it this time either, just google "mudflats blog" and you should find it pretty quickly =)
mudflats.wordpress.com
Hey
I just happened to see your post asking where to go to find out what Alaskans think about all this Sarah Palin stuff. Go to Mudflats. It's a GREAT and truthful Alaskan blog that tells a lot about Sarah that the media doesn't report. It's written by an Alaskan. I've been trolling the blog ever since Palin came on the the stage.
Here's the site:enjoy!
rainkiss: Clearly this is my response from the other post...i hope you get my gist... not my attitude towards the other writer
By the way... I have SEEN Joe Biden belittle a woman TV anchor in Florida asking her "who writes her questions" my perception of his tone and the disdain I SAW on his face was that he thought she was unable write her own questions. By the way... my prediction for Vice President was Sarah Palin because of the research i had done! Yes...I am able to do my own research.
By the way... cnn

Gov. Sarah Palin said Friday the project was $329 million short of full funding.
"We will continue to look for options for Ketchikan to allow better access to the island," the Republican governor said. "The concentration is not going to be on a $400 million bridge."
Palin directed state transportation officials to find the most "fiscally responsible" alternative for access to the airport. She said the best option would be to upgrade the ferry system.
this was reported by cnn in 2007 not something re fabricated by the news media today.
Research ... not regurgitation
Also, don't you want to see the receipts for clothes purchased for all the other candidates...I do!
Rainkiss,
I have writteen the article I was telling you about. The Official Newsvine Bailout Plan. Thanks for your help, take a look at it and let me know what you think.
Crash
Sorry for the delay approving your comment, Rob, I'm still figuring out how to run the website. I can see your point about voting for a third party, however, I have to say that voting for a third party, when there's such support behind the two existing parties, is, in essence, throwing away your vote. Until there's a third party candidate with enough support behind him or her that there's a chance of taking the election, I figure it's my duty to at least cast my vote for a candidate who's got a chance of winning, and is the one likely to do the least harm.
Honestly, McCain isn't the man he was when he ran years ago. That man would not have tolerated the negative crap that's gone on with this campaign. He has not yet released his full medical records, to my knowledge, and anyone with eyes can see that this campaign has taken a toll on him. Serving as President isn't going to be any more restful. If, God of your choice forbid, he should be unable to complete his term, Palin would be President, which I can only expect to be a disaster.
By all means, cast your vote the way your conscience demands. My own demands that a disaster of the magnitude that putting McCain, with the temper control issues he's displayed, and Palin, with her displayed disregard for the limits on her existing power, ANYWHERE near the White House be prevented. As I see it, voting for a third party candidate with no real chance of winning won't prevent that disaster. Voting for Obama might.
Please, by all means, share your thoughts, that's why at least some of us are here.

Rainkiss the only way we will ever change anything is if we vote for some one other than a Dem or Rep. If we don't it is just more of the same. There comes a time when we as taxpayers have to make a stand, with where our country is today, I would say now is the time. We need a government that actaully upholds the constitution not just the parts they agree with. Go to the following sites if you want more information.
www.constitutionparty.com
www.campaignforliberty.comThese are the grassroots efforts that will actually change the country if we allow it.
